The IvyHouse Center for Self-Sufficiency

Outreach Services

Over the past four years, Ivy House has also worked closely with the Bethesda Center for the Homeless, providing community support services for homeless and criminal justice involved individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues. These services include providing on-site support at monthly resource events for residents, volunteering staff and team participation in the annual Count for homeless individuals throughout the County.

Ivy House also participates on the Winston Salem Homeless Council representing Re-Entry and Treatment interests for homeless individuals in Forsyth County. Most recently, Ivy House serves on the Coordinated Intake Task Force with key service agencies, as a community effort to transition homeless services in compliance with the new HEARTH Act.

In a commitment to assist the population we serve, Ivy House offers regular community outreach activities to help those who seek shelter, clothing, food and support for unaddressed behavioral health issues.
